Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY GLOBEX PRICES: December corn was down 15 cents, January soybeans were down 14 cents and December KC wheat was down 39 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, stock futures in the U.S. were a little higher, in line with stocks in Europe on a day when the Federal Reserve is expected to increase the federal funds target by 0.75% to a range of 3.75% to 4.00%. On Thursday, the Bank of England is expected to raise its key interest rate by 0.75% to 3.00%. Traders will be watching both actions for indications of what might come next. Wednesday's earnings reports include Humana and CVS Health, reported CNBC.com. The Department of Energy's weekly inventory report is out at 9:30 a.m. CDT, including ethanol production. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 79.75 at 32,653.20 and the S&P 500 down 15.88 at 3,856.10, while the 10-Year Treasury yield increased to 4.05%, near the highest yield since 2008. Early Wednesday, December Dow Jones futures are trading up 57 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.06% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.15%. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.19%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.22% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.54%. The December euro is up $0.0019 at $.9937. The December U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.30 at 111.06. The December 30-year T-bond is up 2/32nds, while December gold is up $6.50 at $1,656.20 and December crude oil is up $0.34 at $88.71. On China's Dalian exchange, January corn was up slightly, January soybeans were up 2.0%, January soybean meal was up 1.2% and January soybean oil was up 2.9%. January Malaysian palm oil is trading up 3.6%.
