DTN Closing Grain Comments 11/07 13:51 Soybeans, Products Decline on Bad China Economic News, Weaker Exports Soybeans and products, trading both sides of unchanged, corrected from recent hefty gains, finishing lower Monday. News that China would maintain its demand-sapping zero-COVID policy, and customs data showing a big drop in October soy imports by China, sent markets down. Ahead of the November USDA report corn was weaker as well, while wheat finished mixed in quiet trade. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 5 1/4 cents per bushel and March corn was down 5 1/4 cents. November soybeans closed down 11 1/2 cents and January soybeans were down 12 cents. December KC wheat closed up 4 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 2 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 7 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.819 at 109.955. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 426.25 points at 32,829.47. December gold is up $2.10 at $1,678.70, December silver is up $0.08 at $20.86 and December copper is down $0.0940 at $3.5925. December crude oil is down $0.80 at $91.81, December heating oil is down $0.1319, December RBOB is down $0.0809 and December natural gas is up $0.560.
