DTN Closing Grain Comments 11/08 13:57 Corn, Wheat Prices Sink Lower Late Tuesday After a roughly steady start Tuesday, December corn and December contracts of all three wheats sunk lower near the close, ahead of Wednesday's WASDE report from USDA. January soybeans were down 3 3/4 cents influenced by a 1.30-cent drop in soybean oil and lower trading in crude oil price. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 8 1/4 cents and July corn was down 7 1/2 cents. January soybeans closed down 3 3/4 cents and July soybeans were down 6 3/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 11 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 18 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 9 3/4 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.33 at 109.66. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 117.51 points at 32,944.51. December gold is up $34.20 at $1,714.70, December silver is up $0.44 at $21.36 and December copper is up $0.0485. December crude oil is down $2.55 at $89.24, December ultra-low sulfur diesel is up $0.0022, December RBOB gasoline is down $0.0159 and December natural gas is down $0.823.
