Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY GLOBEX PRICES: December corn is down 1 cent per bushel, January soybeans are down 6 1/4 cents, and December KC wheat is down 1 cent. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Mixed equities around the globe overnight as investors await updated inflation data later this week. The October Consumer Price Index data released on Thursday will be the most important data point and will directly influence expectations moving forward. Energy markets are weaker overnight with crude oil being rejected by its 100-day moving average overnight and the last three sessions. Natural gas remains volatile, following yesterday's surge with a 6% drop overnight. The U.S. Dollar Index is firmer overnight, recovering inside Monday's range. Metals are mixed to weaker overnight. Grain markets are mixed to weaker, awaiting fresh input from the USDA on Wednesday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 423.78 at 32,827.00 and the S&P 500 up 36.25 at 3,770.55 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.214%. Early Tuesday, the December DJIA futures are up 44 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 up 344.47 (1.25%) and China's Shanghai Composite down 13.32 points (-0.43%). European markets are mixed with London's FTSE 100 down 16.65 points (-0.23%), Germany's DAX up 37.86 points (0.28%) and France's CAC 40 down 9.35 points (-0.15%). The December Euro is down 0.003 at 1.000 and the December U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.302 at 110.295. The December 30-Year T-Bond is up 3/32nds, while December gold is down $6.60 at $1,673.90 and December crude oil is down $1.21 at $90.58. Corn on China's Dalian Exchange was up 0.49% while soybeans were up 0.54% and soybean meal was up 0.5%.
