DTN Closing Grain Comments 11/21 13:57 Crop Prices Mixed After Crude Oil Prices Go Full Circle Crop prices were all lower early Monday after January crude oil dropped over $4.00 a barrel on a rumor that OPEC was considering an increase in oil production. After a Saudi official denied the rumor, crude prices then returned to trading near unchanged and crop prices finished the day mixed. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 6 1/2 cents and July corn was down 5 1/4 cents. January soybeans closed up 8 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 8 1/2 cents. March KC wheat closed down 1 cent, March Chicago wheat was down 3 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 5 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.85 at 107.68. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 5.92 points at 33,751.61. December gold is down $14.80 at $1,739.60, December silver is down $0.15 at $20.85 and December copper is down $0.0535. January crude oil is down $0.19 at $79.92, January ultra-low sulfur diesel is down $0.0242, January RBOB gasoline is up $0.0118 and January natural gas is up $0.465.
