DTN Closing Grain Comments 11/22 13:58 Crop Prices Sag Lower in Quiet Pre-Holiday Trade Active contracts of corn, soybeans and all three U.S. wheats were lower Tuesday in quiet trading just two days before the Thanksgiving holiday. March KC wheat was down 10 3/4 cents, posting the largest percentage loss among grains with a chance for precipitation in the extended forecast. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 4 1/4 cents and July corn was down 3 1/2 cents. January soybeans closed down 7 cents and July soybeans were down 4 3/4 cents. March KC wheat closed down 10 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 7 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 3 1/2 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.64 at 107.09. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 331.08 points at 34,031.36. December gold is down $0.50 at $1,739.10, December silver is up $0.22 at $21.10 and December copper is up $0.0415. January crude oil is up $1.20 at $81.24, January ultra-low sulfur diesel is down $0.0051, January RBOB gasoline is up $0.0820 and January natural gas is up $0.023.
