DTN Closing Livestock Comment 11/22 15:54 Feedlots Aim to Push the Cash Cattle Market Higher Come Wednesday Packers and feedlots will be busy come Wednesday as the market will likely see interest from packers as they'd like to get the week's business done with before the Thanksgiving holiday. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS It was a mixed day for the livestock complex as the contracts closed mostly lower but neither the live cattle nor feeder cattle threw away all that Monday accomplished. Wednesday's focus will be the cash cattle market and what feedlots accomplish this week. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, up $3.14 with a weighted average of $85.30 on 10,051 head. December corn is down 2 3/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $2.80. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 397.82 points.
