DTN Early Word Grains 11/25 07:25 Crop Prices Await 8:30 a.m. CST Open, Crude Oil Higher Wednesday's Closing Globex Net Changes: March corn was up 7 cents, January soybeans were up 6 1/4 cents and March KC wheat was up 7 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Friday, stock futures in the U.S. were trading a little higher while stocks in Europe and Asia were mixed. According to CNBC.com, the People's Bank of China will cut bank reserve requirements by 0.25% as of December 5 to help the economy as it deals with record new cases of Covid. U.S. stocks will close at noon CDT Friday and no major earnings reports are expected. USDA's weekly export sales report will be released at 7:30 a.m. U.S. grain and livestock futures resume trading at 8:30 a.m. and will close early at 12:05 p.m., except for Minneapolis wheat, which closes at 12:15 p.m. There are no other significant reports due out Friday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 95.96 at 34,194.06 and the S&P 500 up 23.68 at 4,027.26, while the 10-Year Treasury yield fell to 3.71%, near the lowest yield in a month. Early Friday, December Dow Jones futures are trading up 43 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.35% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.40%. European markets are mixed to lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.07%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.14% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.12%. The December euro is up $0.0010 at $1.0430. The December U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.12 at 105.85. The December 30-year T-bond is up 3/32nds, while December gold is up $7.00 at $1,752.60 and December crude oil is up $1.57 at $79.51. On China's Dalian exchange, January corn was up 1.3%, January soybeans were up 0.9%, January soybean meal was up 0.8% and January soybean oil was up 1.4%. February Malaysian palm oil is trading up 2.3%.
