DTN Closing Grain Comments 11/29 14:03 Soybeans Firm on Soy Oil Strength; Wheat Fails to Hold Gains There was little news to drive markets Tuesday, resulting in mixed trade. Soybeans firmed up early on follow-through buying from Monday's sharp gains but were able to eke out a small gain at the end. Wheat markets recovered a bit from the recent beatdown, but once again sold off late, with only Chicago higher. Corn finished soft in two-sided trade. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 3 cents and July corn was down 1 3/4 cents. January soybeans closed up 2 1/4 cents and July soybeans were up 5 cents. December KC wheat closed down 8 cents, December Chicago wheat was up 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 2 1/4 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.02 at 106.65. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 4.52 points at 33,844.94. December gold is up $10.40 at $1,750.70, December silver is up $0.33 at $21.24 and December copper is up $0.0290. December crude oil is up $0.91 at $78.15, December ultra-low sulfur diesel is up $0.1014, December RBOB gasoline is up $0.0098 and December natural gas is up $0.049.
