DTN Closing Grain Comments 12/14 14:11 Corn, Wheat Lower Wednesday as Plains Receive December Moisture March contracts of corn and all three U.S. wheats traded lower Wednesday, partially acknowledging the benefits of a broad coverage of rain and snow across a dry Central Plains on Tuesday and Wednesday. January soybean meal closed up $7.80, supported by bull-spreading, a strong hint of commercial buying interest near meal's highest prices in 10 years. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 3 cents and July corn was down 2 cents. January soybeans closed up 2 1/2 cents and July soybeans were down 3/4 cent. March KC wheat closed down 15 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 1 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 5 1/2 cents.
