DTN Closing Grain Comments 12/20 13:57 Soybeans and Products Lead the Tuesday Rally; Wheat Firm on Winterkill Threat Soybeans, soy meal and oil all rallied on Tuesday, led by a slightly drier Argentine forecast versus Monday. Bean oil led the way on crude oil strength and a longer-term bullish outlook. Wheat reacted only modestly to the upside ahead of a major winter storm and cold air mass expected to bring dangerous below-zero temperatures as far south as Texas. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 4 3/4 cents per bushel, January soybeans closed up 17 3/4 cents, March KC wheat finished up 3 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat closed up 2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat settled 6 cents higher.
