Bid structures show hard red winter and red spring either flat or at an inverse, with modest carries posted for white wheat. New crop August bids at the close today showed soft white at $8.00, hard red winter 11.5% protein at $8.86 and dark norther spring 14% protein bid at $9.41. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed a modest rebound in U.S. wheat shipments last week, coming in at 11.1 mb to put the year-to-date total 2% behind a year ago at 420 mb. Top shipper was soft white wheat, registering 4.4 mb in shipments off the west coast, that went mostly to South Korea. Hard red spring wheat registered 3.7 mb, while movement of hard red winter totalled only 2.7 mb. China also took 17 mb of soybeans off the west coast ports. -Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2022 DTN/Telvent. All Rights Reserved.
