DTN Closing Livestock Comment 12/21 15:50 Livestock Market Keeps Strong Tones Through Close Come Thursday, the livestock complex will be pressure to either keep with Wednesday's powerful trade or regress and trade lower. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS The livestock complex powered through Wednesday's trade as the support from the commodity market helped propel all the contracts higher. Come Thursday, the market will be e interested in seeing how the cash cattle market trades. Hog prices closed lower on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $0.40 with a weighted average of $79.52 on 3,764 head. March corn is up 10 1/4 cents per bushel and March soybean meal is up $3.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 526.74 points.
