DTN Closing Livestock Comment 08/24 15:10 Livestock Futures Close Mostly Lower Wednesday Live cattle futures closed 52 to 122 lower on Wednesday. Feeder cattle contracts were 92 to 137 lower, except spot August was 20 higher. Lean hog futures closed 15 to 87 lower, except next August was 40 higher. DTN Closing Grain Comments 08/24 13:49 Soybeans Drag Grains Lower All three grains closed lower Wednesday, led by an 8 1/4-cent loss in November soybeans while crop scouts inspect fields in Illinois and Iowa. A higher U.S. dollar also exerted bearish influence on grains Wednesday and on commodities, in general.
