DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/31 13:53 USDA Stuns the Corn Market December corn fell to a new contract low Thursday after USDA predicted 93.6 million planted acres in 2016, much more than was expected. Wheat prices, on the other hand, closed higher with a planting estimate of 49.6 million acres, the lowest since 1970.
